Hello witches and wizards of OPA! This is a reminder to all 5th & 6th grade students that this year’s Harry Potter literacy night will be on Thursday, Jan 26 from 5 to 7 pm. You can bring parents and siblings, but no Muggles will be allowed to enter! The magic begins at 5:00. Wear your best robes while you do fun activities with your favorite professors! There will be free pizza and prizes, but you must turn in your reservation slips by Friday (Jan. 20) to your homeroom teacher. We await your owl!
Our next book report is a biography. Your child has already chosen which person they'll be reading about and they're due on Feb. 28. Please check the green instructions that went home last week & help your child keep up with reading their book & working on the report. If you have any questions, feel free to call or e-mail me.
I will not be in town during parent teacher conferences this month (Oct), but am available after 2pm each day to meet with parents and discuss your child's progress. You may also call or e-mail me any time.
